Where Chasing Kaleidorider Stands — KALEIDO Test Done, Global Launch Still Unannounced

If you are trying to work out whether to pay attention to this game yet, here is the honest state of play.

The close time in other zones: 15:59 UTC, 08:59 PT, 11:59 ET, 17:59 CEST on 7 August. Notably the Chinese and Global builds ran on an identical schedule — they opened together and shut down together, which is unusual and suggests the two versions are being kept in sync rather than staggered.

What this actually means

Two closed tests and a TGS appearance is a meaningful amount of runway. Publishers do not usually run a second global test unless they intend to ship reasonably soon after — the test exists to stress infrastructure and validate monetisation, and that work has a short shelf life.

That said, no release date has been announced, and we are not going to guess at one. Plenty of games sit between final beta and launch for six months or more.

What the tests told us

The most useful thing to come out of beta coverage is the gacha structure, and it is unusually player-friendly:

  • 80-pull hard pity on the character banner
  • No 50/50 — the featured character is reportedly guaranteed
  • Limited characters are added to the standard pool after their banner ends
  • A separate motorbike banner with its own pity

The absence of a 50/50 is the headline. In most gacha games your realistic worst case is double the advertised pity; here it is the pity number itself. See our gacha system breakdown for what that means for saving, or run your own numbers in the pity calculator.

What is still unknown

  • Global release date
  • Launch banner characters
  • Official drop rates (the figures circulating are community estimates from test builds)
  • Full character roster and their kits
  • Pricing and starter currency amounts

How we will cover it

This site labels every piece of data with how solid it is — confirmed, partial, or placeholder. Right now most character pages are placeholder, because the stats genuinely are not public. We would rather show you an honest gap than fill the space with numbers we invented.

When the release date is announced, this page gets updated the same day.
