The Dual Gacha — Why Motorbikes Are a Separate Decision

Updated 2026-08-09

Most coverage of this game leads with “no 50/50” and stops there. That is the good news. The part that gets underweighted is the second gacha pool — and it is where the game actually makes its money.

Data status: the two-pool structure and the 80-pull pity on each are consistently reported from beta builds. Exact rates and bike stat contributions are unpublished.

Two pools, two pities

Motorbikes are not cosmetic. They are equipped to a Rider and contribute to performance, which means “should I pull the bike too” is a real question rather than a vanity one.

Why this is the real monetisation lever

The character banner is generous by design — guaranteed featured character at pity, no coin flip, and limited characters return to the standard pool later. Taken alone, that is an unusually low-pressure system.

The bike pool is how the economics balance. If you want a character and their signature motorbike, you are budgeting two separate 80-pull reserves, not one. The generosity on one side is funded by the second ask on the other.

Recognising this early is the single most useful thing you can do with your currency.

How to actually decide

Pick one before the banner starts, not during. Splitting your reserve across both pools is the most common way free-to-play players end up with neither. Two half-attempts have a much worse expected outcome than one complete one.

Default to the character. A fully built character on a generic bike will generally outperform a half-built character on their signature bike. Characters are the larger power contribution and the harder thing to substitute.

Bikes are a later problem. Because bikes are equipment rather than roster slots, acquiring one late costs you time, not access. A missed character banner is a bigger deal than a missed bike banner.

Where this leaves the site

Bike-to-Rider pairing is the least covered topic in this game’s coverage right now — most sites list characters and stop. Once real stats are available, our motorbike database will map which bike suits which Rider, because that is the decision players will actually be stuck on.

Run your pull budget through the pity calculator before committing to either pool.

What we still do not know

  • How large a bike’s contribution to combat performance actually is
  • Whether signature bikes give a unique bonus on their paired Rider, or just better stats
  • Official drop rates for either pool
  • Whether the two pools share any currency or are fully separate
